The 101.20-W is a classic women’s orthopedic shoe combining a traditional leather design with an exceptionally generous fit and supportive construction.

Built on our 6E (H last), it offers an extra wide and extra deep fit, providing significantly more space than conventional footwear while maintaining a smart, understated appearance.

The adjustable Velcro fastening allows the fit to be easily adjusted, while the generous internal space can also accommodate suitable orthotic insoles where required.

A key feature of the 101.20-W is its rocker-bottom sole, designed to encourage a smoother rolling motion through each step and provide additional support during everyday walking.

With its classic black leather upper, roomy construction and supportive sole, the 101.20-W is an ideal choice for women who require extra wide orthopedic footwear but prefer the appearance of a more traditional everyday shoe.

Two insole options: Each pair comes with two sets of removable insoles: a standard 10 mm set and a slimmer 6 mm set. If the fit feels snug, switch to the 6 mm set to create around 4 mm of extra internal space for a roomier fit.

  • Upper: Soft natural calf leather
  • Lining: Seam-free leather
  • Depth: Extra depth, adjustable by around 4 mm through the insole choice
  • Fitting: Extra wide and extra deep 6E, built on the H last
  • Closure: Single touch-fasten strap

  • For Kent 101.20-W, lift away loose dust before wiping the calf-leather upper with a soft, slightly damp cloth.
  • Apply a small amount of black shoe polish and buff gently once it has dried.
  • During the first two days, build up wear in similar, shorter periods while the natural leather begins to settle.
  • After two consecutive days of use, leave this pair unworn for a day so retained moisture can disperse.
  • Kent is not waterproof; keep it out of heavy rain and snow, and let a wet pair dry naturally away from radiators or direct heat.
  • Remove whichever supplied footbed is fitted overnight, allowing both the insole and the leather lining to air.
  • Where foot sensation is reduced, inspect the feet after each early wear; stop using the shoes and contact us if redness or a mark is noticed.

Room for an Orthotic Without a Clinical Look: Kent 101.20-W

Choose Kent when you want the internal space of a 6E H-last shoe in a discreet, single-strap design. For shoppers comparing shoes for orthotics, its two removable footbeds offer a choice between contoured support and additional internal depth for a suitable prescribed insole.

Depth Carried in the Last, Not the Styling
The 6E H last is extra deep from heel to toe, so a prescribed insole sits inside without the shoe looking bulky.
Understated Single Strap
One touch-fasten strap fastens over the instep; the fit is fixed in one movement and the outline stays plain.
Deep or Slim Footbed
The shoe arrives on its contoured 10 mm footbed; drop in the slim 6 mm one that comes with it and around 4 mm more height opens up inside.
Extra Width Across the Forefoot
The H last is broader across the ball of the foot than the K last, providing additional forefoot room.
Smooth Inside from Heel to Toe
The inside surface is continuous leather with no internal stitching for sensitive skin to rub against.
Roll-Through Sole
The shaped sole encourages a smooth roll from heel strike to toe-off. The heel and arch stay firm for support, while the forefoot allows a small amount of flex.

  • Breathable Natural Leather: Soft, breathable leather encourages airflow, helping feet remain cool and comfortable.
  • Shock Absorption: The cushioned sole helps soften impact and support more comfortable walking.
  • Removable Insoles: Insoles can be removed or replaced with custom orthotics where required.
