Flat feet often cause no difficulty, but when the feet feel tired, painful or less steady, the shoe needs to support them without squeezing their natural shape.
We selected these shoes for flat feet around a structured foundation: the soles are firmer through the heel and arch area, with more flexibility towards the forefoot. Secure uppers and fastenings help keep the foot positioned on that base, while wider fittings give the forefoot room. Depending on the model, a shaped removable footbed can provide underfoot support or be replaced with your own prescribed orthotic. Footwear can support comfort and function; it does not create a new arch or change the shape of the foot.

To choose between them: decide first whether you want a shoe, a boot or a trainer, then pick the fitting. If you already wear a prescribed orthotic, take our insole out and put yours in — it lifts out of every pair, and the depth underneath is what makes room for it. If you do not, ours is already in the box.
What the 1 cm insole actually is
Selected models use a 1 cm moulded footbed with a contoured arch and a tear-drop shaped metatarsal support behind the ball of the foot. Other models use our 6 mm removable footbed; the individual product page identifies the supplied option.
Wide fit shoes for flat feet, EE to 6E
Some people with flat feet also need more usable room across the forefoot. A wider fitting is not a larger size: the length stays the same while width and depth are added across the forefoot.
Shoes for flat feet that take custom orthotics
The insole lifts out of every pair here. That releases the depth underneath, which is what a prescribed orthotic needs. An orthotic dropped on top of a fixed footbed just raises the foot and takes the room away from the toes.

Do I need arch support if I have flat feet?
That depends on your symptoms and whether the foot is flexible or rigid, so ask your podiatrist if you are unsure. Selected models include a 1 cm moulded footbed with a contoured arch; other models use a 6 mm removable footbed, and both can be removed for a prescribed orthotic where appropriate.
Are these the same as the shoes on the rest of the site?
No. Our range uses two removable footbeds: a 6 mm everyday option and a 1 cm moulded option. Both are represented in this collection, so check the individual product specification for the supplied footbed.
Can I wear them with my own orthotics?
Yes. Lift ours out first.
