Foot health products cover several different needs, from the layer next to the skin to a support worn around a joint, so the correct choice starts with the purpose of the product.
Our current range brings together socks, GEHWOL skin and nail care, and specialist supports for the ankle, Achilles area, calf, knee, elbow, foot drop and hallux valgus. Use the category links and individual product specifications to narrow the range rather than assuming every item is suitable for the same concern.
More about our foot health and supports range
Socks
The range includes one non-binding therapeutic diabetic sock and two graduated compression options. These serve different needs: compression hosiery should not be treated as a substitute for a loose-top sock.
Skin and nail care
The GEHWOL products include creams, oil, nail softener and deodorant spray. Their ingredients, application areas and directions vary, so follow the individual label.
Supports and braces
The supports range from flexible knitted compression sleeves to a stabilised knee support, drop-foot brace and night bunion splint. Select by the product's actual construction, size guide and intended use.
Questions we are asked
Are all these products made by TDO Therapy?
No. The therapeutic diabetic sock is a TDO Therapy product; the current creams and supports are supplied by specialist manufacturers identified on their product pages.
Can a support be worn with orthopaedic footwear?
Some can, but the answer depends on the support's bulk and the shoe's usable width, depth and opening. Check the exact combination.
Where should I start?
Choose medical socks, creams, lotions and oils or orthopaedic supports and braces according to the immediate need.
A retail foot-care product should not delay assessment of new pain, swelling, weakness, broken skin or a change in sensation.
