Skin and nail care

Achilles-area support

The TDO 455 Achilles support is a flexible knitted sleeve with a silicone cushion positioned around the Achilles area. Select its size from the measurements on its product page.

Using products with footwear

Allow topical products to absorb before putting footwear on, and check that a sleeve does not make the shoe tight around the heel or ankle. Anything added to the foot can change the available room inside a shoe.

How does a forefoot insert differ from a pad with a toe ring?

A forefoot insert sits beneath the ball of the foot without a toe ring. A metatarsal pad with a toe ring has a connected loop to help position the pad. Check each product page for its shape, sizing and pack quantity.

Can I use a cream and a support together?

Possibly, but allow the cream to absorb fully and make sure the support does not slide or create a pressure point. Follow both product instructions.

What if discomfort keeps returning in the same place?

Repeated pain, skin damage or pressure in one area is worth having assessed rather than repeatedly covered or cushioned.

Seek professional advice for broken skin, persistent heel pain or symptoms accompanied by diabetes, reduced sensation or poor circulation.
