Heel Solutions

Discomfort around the heel or Achilles area can have different causes, so the current product should be chosen for its actual construction rather than the broad collection title.

The current Heel Solutions selection starts with the TDO 455 Achilles tendon support: a knitted sleeve with a silicone cushion positioned around the tendon area. It is a wearable support, not a heel raise, loose heel pad or insert placed underneath the foot.

More about the current heel and Achilles support

What the product is

The sleeve uses flexible Lycra-based fabric, a seamless knitted construction and a silicone cushion around the Achilles area. It is designed to sit close to the ankle while allowing movement.

What it is not

The current product does not change leg length and is not a heel raise. It should not be described as a collection of heel cups or under-foot cushions until those products are actually added.

Fit inside footwear

Because the sleeve adds material around the heel and ankle, check it with the intended shoe. The heel should remain securely held without the support being folded or compressed by the shoe collar.

Questions we are asked

Does this collection currently contain heel raises?

No. The live product is an Achilles support sleeve with a silicone cushion. Further heel products can be added to the broader collection later.

How do I choose the size?

Use the circumference measurement and size information on the product page; do not select it from shoe size alone.

Will it treat heel pain?

We do not make that claim. Persistent heel or Achilles pain should be assessed so the underlying cause and appropriate management can be identified.

Seek advice promptly for sudden severe pain, loss of function, marked swelling or symptoms following an injury.
