  • When dry, condition the leather with a compatible matching polish and buff away any residue around the slip-on opening.
  • Always use a shoe horn for entry, as this model has no fastening to open before the foot goes in.
  • Remove the padded 6 mm insole at the end of a long day and leave the interior unobstructed overnight.
  • If the shoes become saturated, reshape them lightly and leave them in a well-ventilated room without artificial heat.
  • Wear Preston for increasing indoor intervals over its first 48 hours, checking the heel and instep hold because neither is strap-adjustable.
  • Complete the first fit assessment on an unmarked indoor floor before exposing the sole to outdoor surfaces.

Choose Preston 209-M when the priority is slip-on entry with no fastening to adjust, together with a firm, level PU base. Because the upper cannot be tightened after the foot is inside, confirm the heel hold and instep fit indoors before outdoor wear.
