Extra Wide Fit Orthopaedic Boots

Our extra wide fit orthopaedic boots come in women’s and men’s styles, with an extra-deep 6E fitting for more room across the forefoot and over the instep. Their ankle-height uppers offer support around the ankle, with laces or touch-fastening straps to adjust the hold.

Each pair combines soft calf leather uppers, seam-free leather linings and removable supportive insoles. Choose Forge, Roam or Summit according to how you prefer your boots to open and fasten.

Which fastening suits you?

  • Forge — lace-up adjustment: The laces let you adjust the fit along the top of the foot and up to the ankle. Choose Forge if you prefer the control of a lace-up fastening.
  • Roam — two separately adjustable straps: Two touch-fastening straps let you adjust the hold at each fastening without tying laces. You can loosen or tighten either strap as needed.
  • Summit — an opening that unfolds flat: Release the two touch-fastening straps and the upper opens flat, giving more access from above when putting the boot on. This is its main difference from the other styles.

Rocker soles and removable insoles

All three styles have rocker soles. Each pair comes fitted with supportive 10 mm insoles, with a slimmer 6 mm alternative also supplied. Swapping to the thinner pair gives around 4 mm more internal height. The fitted 10 mm insoles have arch support and a metatarsal dome.

If you wear a suitable personal orthotic, you can try it in place of the supplied insole. Compare the available measurements in the individual product’s size guide and allow room for the socks you usually wear.
